Jaume Torras is a natural-born agricultural entrepreneur, the fifth generation of farmers dedicated to cultivating the lands of the Baix Llobregat Agricultural Park. The respect and love for the land, always instilled by his father, have made a commitment to quality and proximity to the product his hallmark. As a result of effort and dedication, Soulblim, the company of which he is founder and president, has become synonymous with excellence and is today one of the main suppliers of seasonal and zero-kilometer products. A family cheese factory with history

LAIA MUGURUZA. CHEESE MAKER

Laia is the cheese maker at the helm of Formatges Blancafort, a small family cheese factory with over 30 years of history, specialized in goat cheeses with the Garrotxa variety as a reference. This cheese factory was one of the pioneers in crafting artisanal cheese in Catalonia and one of the first to export its cheeses to countries like England and the United States. They have always prioritized quality over large-scale production.

Cheeses from the Pyrenees

The history of Formatges Blancafort dates back to 1984 when the Muguruza family left the city to start a new life in the countryside. They specialize in goat cheese production, being one of the pioneering cheese factories in crafting Garrotxa cheese. They have received several awards, including the Lactium Award for the best Garrotxa cheese in 2021.

Talking about Agustí Torelló Mata is talking about the history of cava. Àlex Torelló, along with his sister Gemma, took over the reins, he as a winemaker and she as the manager of the family winery, a project with well-consolidated roots and the soul of cava. Àlex, who was born seeing a glass of cava on the table, enjoys discovering wines with personality from around the world.

Sparkling wines with DO

The Penedès region, limited by the sea and the mountains of Montserrat, allows for the production of wines with great elegance. They are Mediterranean wines, wines of the sun, all ecological, with vegan certification. With respect for the land and history, Agustí Torelló achieves distinguished wines of maximum expression.

Folgueroles

When each batch is worked as if it were unique

XAVIER PUIGDELLOSES. MASTER ARTISAN BAKER

Xavier learned the trade of baker in his family workshop in Folgueroles, where he began helping his father at the age of 11. He combined his work as a baker with the pastry school in Barcelona until he graduated and, upon returning to his artisan workshop, he created the famous Coca del Mossèn. He has won several Catalonia bread competitions, advised on gastronomic breads by renowned chefs, and authored the book "The Artisan Bread".

The famous bread from Folgueroles

Coca del Mossèn is made without sugar, it's very crispy, eaten toasted and spread with tomato bread. It is baked in the Sant Jordi oven in Folgueroles and is famous throughout Catalonia. The bread is made with their own Xeixa variety flour, water, olive oil, salt, and yeast. The production process is entirely manual and artisanal.

A skilled rice farmer and owner of the only remaining farmhouse on the island (now dedicated to rural and scientific tourism), he works to preserve one of the most important wetlands in Europe, located in the heart of the Ebro Delta. With a deep commitment to sustainability, Guillermo continues the fight to protect this fragile ecosystem, threatened by climate change and marine intrusion.
